Yes, Praise Him!!!

If they say, “Come along with us; let’s lie in wait for innocent blood, let’s ambush some harmless soul; let’s swallow them alive, like the grave, and whole, like those who go down to the pit; we will get all sorts of valuable things and fill our houses with plunder; cast lots with us; we will all share the loot”— my son, do not go along with them, do not set foot on their paths;

Today when I read this I did not think of this literally as much as metaphorically. The world can make things sound attractive and beneficial. It may not be presented in such negative words but will always say things like we can share the loot. There is always testing and temptation. We need to remember that when we give in the result is always going to have a negative effect.

All share a common destiny—the righteous and the wicked, the good and the bad, the clean and the unclean, those who offer sacrifices and those who do not. As it is with the good, so with the sinful; as it is with those who take oaths, so with those who are afraid to take them.
Ecclesiastes 9:2 NIV

Even though we all die, now we know the righteous even though we die to this world do not suffer the same eternal fate as the wicked.
